Ferme Laitière Rayon D'or inc.
In 1998, brothers Steve and Serge Moreau acquire ownership of the firm previously acquired by their parents in 1970. Starting out as a herd of cows crossed, they invested 1.5 milion to obtain a site, an exceptional genetic quality and high performance animals under the prefix RAYON D'OR !
The farm has a herd 100% pure-blood with an area of 80 hectares including 53 in forage crop, 10 acres of silage, 7 acres in corn silage and 10 hectares of woodland.
The firm currently has a quota of 50 kg mg with an average of 12,277 kg.
In the 2000s, the brothers have invested Moreau in a water line system, new ventilation and stalls have been completely redone for the convenience of high-herd genetics.
